Motoring Ready to learn how to take care of your hair? The main part of taking good care of your hair is keeping it clean. Some people might wash their hair every day, while others might only wash their hair once or twice a week. How often you need to wash your hair depends upon your particular hair and what you’ve been doing. If your hair has lots of natural oils, you may need to wash it daily to keep it clean. Likewise, if you exercise or go swimming often, you’ll need to wash your hair more frequently. When you wash your hair, use a gentle shampoo and warm water. Gently massage your hair with your fingertips to make sure you get all of your hair clean. You might also want to use a separate conditioner or a shampoo that includes conditioner. Conditioner helps to untangle your hair and makes it look smooth. If your hair already has lots of natural oils, you might not need conditioner, especially if conditioner makes your hair look flat or greasy. When you’re finished shampooing and/or conditioning your hair, rinse it thoroughly to remove all the soap. Gently dry your hair with a towel and then use a comb to remove any tangles. Always be gentle with your hair. Avoid yanking your hair when you’re trying to untangle it. If you want to curl or blow dry your hair, make sure you ask an adult for help, as curling irons and blow dryers get very hot and can be dangerous if you’re not careful. They can also damage your hair if you don’t use them properly.
Have you been taking special care of your hair, treating it delicately, and still not seeing the growth results you wanted? Well, how would you? Your high stress levels are causing you to lose all your hard-earned gains. High stress is a common cause of hair fall, and this means your hair strands are not growing to their full potential in the anagen stage (5). Stress, caused due to physiological or psychological factors, negatively affects the health and growth of hair. It makes hair lose its density and volume and makes it look dull and malnourished. One should avoid stress by practicing yoga, meditation and stress relieving exercises regularly. You should ensure you get at least eight hours of sleep every day, and do something that relaxes your mind, like reading a book or listening to your favorite music.

If so, read this Send This Article To Your Friends Last year I chopped 10 inches off my hair and immediately panicked. What had I done? I’m sure you’ve had a similar, post-haircut moment of regret. I wanted a change, but I didn’t realize just how drastic it would be. As I reeled to figure out how to remedy this now irreversible situation, I recalled reading somewhere that hair grows an average of 6 inches a year…so regrowing those 10 inches could take me almost two full years! (And that’s not factoring in trims and breakage). I felt stuck without my hair and now had a new mission: to reclaim it.

Do you currently color your hair? I was a blonde up until November 2016. Then I dyed my hair black, because I wanted to take a break from constantly getting my roots done. Bleach was starting to damage my hair, and now that I’ve gone back to a darker hair color, my hair is healthier, shinier and stronger.

Follow @DailyMirror TABLET EDITION Competitions Gift on June 18, 2016 at 11:36 pm Hi Ammaarah, The best thing about hair, is that it almost always grows back, so don’t fret! You have said your hair is dry, so first and foremost I would recommend a coconut oil treatment to renourish it and get it looking and feeling healthy again. Secondly, I would advise the inversion method to encourage hair growth. Do these things, and within a few months your hair should look better than ever! I hope this helps 🙂

Anushka do you have to put your head back or forwards when doing the inversion method? I’m a little confused ? Like would it still work if you hang your head off the bed facing the ceiling or the floor? I’m assuming the floor cause that way you can feel the blood rushing to your head more than the other way? Thank you some great tips can’t wait to try them! ???
